[...]
It was crappy, I woke up like 4 times and only slept about an hour, but it was the first time I've taken a nap in almost 8 months. I hope that's a sign of progress.
[...]
Hopefully this is the first of many more signs that you are healing.
[Bi...]
my insomnia is over the top. I slept maybe 12 hours of restful sleep in the last week. Today, I laid down and on and on.. I felt so tired, yet awake. I'll be glad when this stops! I have many stomach cramps and other stuff that keeps me awake, too. Billy.
[ve...]
Some people talk about toxic naps. I never had that problem. When I was sleeping less than 5 hours a night, I found a short nap (30-45 minutes max) was very helpful, even if twice a week or so. Long naps are not advised and preferably not after 3PM or it might impact night time sleep. I never found that to be the case though, although I keep them short. [La...]
I really thought I might nap today, my insomnia is horrible and I thought, I am so tired maybe I can, it would have been my first nap in many many years, but no damn luck, oh well maybe some day it will happen and I will be normal again Ladygrace
[Iw...]
The only real naps I have had since this all began was in Mexico riding a tour bus. I would love to be able to just lie down and take a nap again. I am doing OK at night with only an occasional bad night of no sleep at all. However, still not getting that real sleepy feeling. I hope your napping continues.
[Ti...]
That is wonderful!! Like many have said I also have that tired yet wired feeling. Never groggy but wide awake. I miss laying on bed on the morning with that groggy well-rested feel
[GH...]
Congrats!!! You are making progress. For the first few months I barely slept an hour a day. I just slept when I could. Mostly I went to bed at night with wife. Slept an hour then got up. I got some email friends to chat with. I experienced a new world. Of course I still felt bad. Now at 16 months off, I get 4 to 5 hours of sleep, and feel pretty good. Keep the faith, you will heal. It is a disgustingly long time to heal. You just have to put up with it. I have not found a way around it. If I did, i would patent it.
