Weird Odor s/x or Just Me?

OK, no joke, every morning, if I wake up anxious, I notice that my hands, especially my right hand, have a strange smell to them.  It's like the smell of vinegar or ammonia.  I don't smell it anywhere else on my body, only my hands (of course, there are other areas of my body that I can't or won't smell, but that's another issue).  On the rare occasion that I wake up feeling a little better and I have a little better day, the smell is not there.  Could it have to do with high cortisol levels in the morning?

I really don't have night sweats often.  I've been trying to sweat a little every day on the elliptical, and I don't really notice it then.  I know I'm not imagining it because I've had my wife confirm it.  One of the many odd things I've asked her for throughout this ordeal.

Hi, yes had it, its been called a smellucination lol, I thought I smelled ammonia or fruity so depending on the day either thought I was in kidney failure or diabetic ketoacidosis lol and Im not diabetic. It goes, so try not to worry about it.
