Hello everyone. Part of the group now trying to wean off clonazepam. I started weaning 17 months ago from 1 mg. now down to .45 using compounded liquid. This under .50 has been nasty. Does anyone have any issues with slight exercising?

Looking forward to reading information to help me progress.

Thank you

dancinshoes,

Welcoming you to Benzo Buddies.

I, myself have slight problems with exercising. There are others here as well that do.

Congrats on tapering down to .50.

If you have any questions, let us know.

Billy.

Hi, dancinshoes, and welcome to BenzoBuddies.

Congratulations on getting down to less than half of your original dose.  It certainly looks like you are going slow enough so I doubt that slowing down further would help but that's always an option.  I actually found light exercise beneficial, walking especially.  I look forward to learning more about your story in the weeks ahead.

Hi Dancingshoes :)

I had a problem with exercising, its quite common in benzo withdrawal in my experience.

By the time i finished my taper i was back in the gym.

I like your name, dancinshoes!!  Welcome to this place!

How fast are you going down on the liquid clonazepam?  I think you've done well to get as far down as you have, all by yourself.

I'm doing a Valium taper and I agree, these last bits are possibly the hardest.  Some people feel better and better, the further down they get.  But I'm finding some new symptoms popping up now. So I've slowed down to a definite 5% cut and am holding at least two weeks.

If you'd like, you can create a signature line. Then you won't have to answer how fast you are tapering over and over.

How can we help?

Welcome,

Flip

hello...I don't really have a schedule for tapering. Math fries my brain..lol...I started with 4  1 ml syringes of clonaz.  Each syringe has 100 lines on it.. so that was 400 lines. i am now down to line 179.  I only do a line a time. At one point I was doing a line a night and making some progress. I am now at a standstill. GI tract is not good. I fell like vomiting.I am an emotional wreck...from anger, to despair and depression, to overwhelming anxiety. I thought I would be affected more physically than emotionally. I am usually happy go lucky. The slightest exercise is difficult and I am so tired.  I guess I will just stay at line 179 for awhile and hope things improve a little.
