Guest [wi...]
I am starting my c/o today, however according to both my pharmacist and psychiatrist, whom looked it up in some electronical thing she had, the equivalency is .5 K to 5mg Valium. I've also read that Ashton somewhat overestimates for the sake of comfort. I'm a little concerned, because if my psych is right, then i'll be upping my dose by .25 k, but if she's wrong, i'm taking a 33% hit reduction. Was there anything that was researched to have this comparison?
[me...]
I am not sure. But I jumped last week after cutting my klonopin down to the last .031 mg. The withdrawals were no worse than any other cut. I had a headache for 2 days and mild dizziness. That's it. I guess things could get worse, but I actually feel fine now. After taking klonopin for 15 years. I was expecting much worse honestly.
Guest [wi...]
Thanks for your reassurance. Just taking a Valium made me feel super weird though. I don't think it works for me the same. Not the worst, but still the first dose. We'll see.

Guest [ja...]
The first few days on valium ARE weird! I felt out of place and super tired for about a week...I could not even drive, i think its because of the long half life...
Guest [wi...]
Hey, Bando, I'm starting to think that I lean towards the standard formula that you just gave. I know people differ, thought I might be one but it seems that .10 is just too low. Jane, it is an experience, that's for sure! I'm not reacting to it immediately as much and the sudden depression is fading. Did you do a direct c/o or gradual and from what?
Guest [wi...]
Oh wait, i see on your sig. whoops! So you exchanged out .5 every two weeks? how did that go
Guest [ja...]
well im not done yet but ive come a long way in four months. if all goes well and i stay strong and excersize, I should be off in less than 2 months. i dont really get bad w/d sxs besides depression, but thats managable for me. I just cut a large amount 3 days ago and feel fine. I didnt even have to updose on my valium (ODD!) So im thinking I may ride this out for 4 more days and cut down to 1mg a day of xanax and if need be, increase my valium to 35 mg. I dont think ill ever be needing 80 mg's lol. I sleep like a baby every night. Also a suggestion for you and anyone who has trouble sleeping, CVS brand liquid melatonin helps TREMENDOUSLY! Especially the first 3 or 4 days after a cut! It literally puts me almost into a coma sleep after 15 mins of ingesting it.
Guest [ja...]
Im no doctor but I do suggest you just listen to your body. There are people who cant handle the w/d at all, people who have difficulty, people who just endure it and stay here for support, and well the rare few who can just get off of it with no issues. Damn, I wish I was in the last category! lol
Guest [wi...]
Sleep has not been a problem for me lol. What's good is that if I get some difficulty with an sx I can just nap it out. Wake up feeling groggy but its good. Cog Fog is a little worse but that;ll come and go.
