5 mths off cold turkey and can't seem to remember anything

Anyone else struggling with a memory problem?  The past week has been extremely busy for me and I am beyond exhausted. This morning I woke up and honestly had to think about what day it was and where I was.  This is all new to me a d today I can't seem to remember what I did 10 minutes ago. Someone tell me I'm not losing my mind and that this is just a part of the detox process. I'm not kidding....I can't seem to remember what I did 30 mins ago.  PLEASE tell me im not losing my mind.

No, you're not losing your mind...it truly is wd. My short-term (yes, just minutes) memory was compromised for yrs in tolerance, taper, and acute wd...its just getting better now and feels great! I promise it'll come back...hang on.

I am 5 months off today and this has been an issue during my whole withdrawal.  I journal so I can go back and remember the day and I take constant notes during the day as I am more forgetful.  It is getting better and it will get better.

Hey, I'm glad you're still hanging in there. I blew it at 4.5 months and reinstated for 5 weeks. Now, I'm back on Day 2...

My memory is also very poor. When I made my first cut my memory actually improved. Then I began getting intrusive memories that played like a movie nonstop in my head. Now that the intrusive memories have stopped I'm left with a horrible awful memory.
