Would love any help for a titration plan- Xanax

I took Xanax 2mg every night for past 10 years. I have got it down to 1 mg every night for past month. I'm ok not great. I know there is no way I can half that & be ok....Interested in how to do the water titration with a 1 mg tablets...Thanks

Place your pills in a small air tight jar with a leak proof lid with 100ml of water.  Wait til they dissolve.  Shake vigorously.  You may want to continue to hold at your current dose to make sure you are ok with the water switch before you start to make cuts. 

 

Once you are ok with the water dose, try cutting 1/2 to 1ml each time you make a cut.  Give it a few days to see how you do with the small .5% (.5ml) to 1% (1ml) cuts.  You will also need a 1ml syringe if you want to do .5ml cuts.

 

If the wd's get too bad after time goes by and you get to the lower doses, you might consider splitting your doses into 2 or 3 times a day, but stick to one dose at night like you are now if you can.
