Hi, bbgirlclueless, and welcome to BenzoBuddies.

I hate to hear of anyone quitting cold turkey, though some have been successful doing that.  If you were on a high dose or on a benzo for a long time, you could be in danger of a seizure.  Is your doctor aware of your actions?  Could you tell us a bit more about the benzo you were on and when you quit?  We surely would like to help you get through this and become free of your dependency.

Dear bbgirlclueless,

Welcome to BB!  We are here to support you in your decision to become benzo free.

Here is the Ashton Manual: http://www.benzo.org.uk/manual/  The Ashton manual

discusses what benzos are, how they act in the body, and how to get off of them by slow tapering,

and the potential disadvantages to going cold turkey.

I hope this helps you.  Please feel free to ask any questions.  :) Many Hugs, KL
