[do...]
I have been on clonazepam for 8 or 9 years. Tried to get off several times by myself but was totally uninformed on how. Finally went to one of those 4 week detox clinics. Wound up in the hospital psych ward for two weeks with psychotic depression. Guess what their solution was...back to clonazepam!!! It is 1 1/2 years later and I thought for all these years I was the only person in the world with this problem. But last week I discovered there is a whole web site with help and experts and friends. You simply cannot imagine how grateful I am. I have studied the substitution method carefully but there are big qualifiers about getting off clonazepam using it. I've now watched the video on titration four times, ordered my 100 ml glass cylinder and mortar & pestel from ebay and am waiting for them to arrive. Next I'm going to get my taper schedule. At last I am not alone with doctors telling me I'm crazy. There are actually people who understand this problem and know what to do about it. Thank you, thank you, thank, you! [La...]
Hi, this is a great place with lots of wonderful folks all going through allot of the same things, I have started a liquid titration off of 30mg of a benzo temazepam by mixing it in 100 ml of water and withdrawing a small amt every week. Welcome and all the best on your journey. Ladygrace

[Li...]
Hi Doglover, I am also getting off of Clonazepam doing a slow taper with titration and actually reduce my dose a tiny bit every day. As you can see in my signature, I have been doing this for a while but feel it is best to do a slow taper for myself and to stay on the Clonazepam than to cross over. It is working as well as W/D can! I really hope that it will work great for you! I wish you all the very best in your getting your freedom and health back. Love, Lily
