My doc feels that it's 100% from the aftermath of a Virus I had 3 years ago and it never went away a Neuralgia, she is trying a low dose of Neurotin for 2 weeks and see's if that takes away the tingling/Throbbing in the concentrated area. She said that there is a small chance that it's Temporal Arthritis but very doubtful and want's me to to take a blood test for see rate to see if it's temporal Arthritis(Mostly happens in Older People)

I have a headache Very similiar to what you describe except without the throbbing. I can't tell if it's w/d or something else. I was looking forward to see what the doctors told you today. Please keep us informed. Thanks

If this Neurontin helps then this will be a savior and I will be able to get through w/d and be able to function like a normal human being eventually.

I hope the neurontin works for you, bmwzw.  Just don't stop it suddenly; it needs to be tapered off of if you do decide to stop taking it at some point.

Yes, listen to Beeper about not stopping the Neurontin abruptly. 

 

My pre-benzo nerve pain is also possibly caused by a virus, according to doctors.
