Why is it soooo hard at the end of my taper, I am so close to the end, I am on .05 of ativan and was planning to be off in a week. My symptoms are bad muscle pain and burning and depression and fatigue :-X

Is this normal to have a hard time near the end.... Do people still jump when they are at such a low dose or should I try to stabilize

I can't go any lower than.05mg

Many people do say it gets harder near the end.  If I were you, I would hold longer until you stabilize.

Wishing you well ...

Yes, it's very difficult.  My hubby. Tapered to one half of w hat you are currently at, for one week, then jumped.  It's been a tough journey.  Though, know it will all change and you will heal.  I was on Valium in 80's, I became totally healed.  Just keep going forward, one step at a time, get off the poison, go thru the wds and onto healing, you will get there' with your new life!  Hugs, Pattylu
