[un...]
Ok so I've tapered very fast from 1mg to .37 mg in one month. It has finally caught up to me. The only unbearable symptoms are nerve/bad/chest pain and inner vibrations. Does holding really work for some to lessen symptoms? Updose just a tad and hold perhaps or just keep going. Its getting to where at night my best n back pain and vibrations/anxiety are fairly severe. Nowhere near my cold turkey but still quite troublesome especially knowing I have quite a ways to go. [pa...]
Hi You have done very well so far, congratulations, but I think your body is telling you to slow down a bit now, you would probably be ok holding at where you are now and see how you feel in a couple of weeks. I think if you continued to cut you would probably get a lot worse than you are now and it would become unbearable. Be pleased with yourself for having come this far, and have a little break, it will let your body catch up with the cuts. Luv Pauline
[Tu...]
Idont think its a good idea to updose, also dont think its a good idea to be in a hurry, but I found holding on a dose does work. Holding at a dose till you feel better to do your next cut when you feel up to it is recommended, I mean there is no rush, you've did so well and came this far, it would be a shame to ruin it! Best of luck

[pa...]
Hi I found if I felt too bad to cut, I did feel better holding, its just giving your body and gabas time to catch up with the cuts. The w/d we feel is lack of benzo, and then the body adjusts itself (thank goodness), but it can take a week or two. I told my mum that being without benzo is like running out of fuel in a car, I just had to wait it out for a day or two and then would feel better. I also used to feel terrible one day and then not too bad the next, so you never know , these benzos have a mind of their own. You will feel better soon and ready to taper again. [un...]
If holding works then how do people get interdose withdrawal? Is idwd uncommon? Cuz they don't even decrease and get withdrawal. Guess I'm just a little paranoid and i have little family support. They don't understand. Just quit the ramble drug they say and quit let it ruining your drug. They are so clueless. I've explained everything and the funny thing is my mom quit baclofen for 4 days and had EXTREME sxs bad hallucinations and she doesn't get it. [pa...]
Hi I dont know much about klonopin, but the general taper guideline is to taper 10% of your dose every 2 to 3 weeks, (I think that applies to all benzos,) but check around the board for anyone that has already been through a klonopin taper. I could only taper 5% so had to go slower than most , I just couldnt function going quicker. It also depends on if you have a failed taper behind you, I dont think you ever feel as good as the first time, I just did a reduction and then waited to feel able to cut again, for the final 2mg I would cut maybe .001mg a day for 10 days and then hold for 10 days. You are right no one understands how hard this is, my husband doesnt complain too much, but I also didnt dare mention it too often and had to pretend I was ok most of the time. Its such a strain pretending also I was caught up in benzos for about 4 years so its been a long time.) Luv Pauline
