[so...]
WAS CRAP. but i figured out why. Over the past few months I seem to have developed hyper sensativities to Meds but am still figuring out which ones. Last Friday I started taking Zyrtec to help with my nasty allergies Monday I noticed a small cough develop but dismissed it. Wednesday a fever came on and anxiety/depression exploded but thought it was part of my w/d. Friday night was the worst of my life with anxiety, palps, insane sweating and a rage that scared me Just by chance I searched Zyrtec side effects and all of those are listed. That made me feel better. I guess my system is still hyper sensative from this detox but I can say that my head is a little clearer but my allergies are worse than before which is what happens when a person stood taking Zyrtec. MY GOSH! Are we nothing more than lab rats? After I'm done with thus detox my life goal will be to educate as many people as possible to the horror that awaits them if they choose benzo use. Benzos robbed me of Whitney Houston who I grew up with. Robbed us of Michael Jackson also
[fi...]
I had a bad reaction to just a half a pill of Zyrtec (it caused an asthma attack in me). This was pre-benzo, by the way. I made the decision to never take it again after that and I haven't. By the way, I use Sinus Rinse (which is completely natural). That may help you out with allergies. Hope you start to feel better ... fg
[2w...]
soonerdean - I had the same reactions has you did after reinstating Zyrtec. After taking it for a week, I have increased dizziness, somnolence and a depression....anger/rage that scares me to death. fg - I have asthma too and have noticed I've had a harder time breathing lately. Thanks for this thread..........I'm stopping this med. Lou
[fi...]
Clarinex did help me (requires a doctor's prescription). It did not cause an asthma attack like Zyrtec did. I called the Pharmacist and she said that too much antihistamine can exacerbate asthma (I guess because antihistamines can dry the lungs and mucous membranes out). fg
[2w...]
If my allergies get too annoying I may try Clarinex, but I'm really skeptical about adding any meds right now. I think I will try something natural like the neti-pot first. I used that before and it does work. Thanks for all of your good suggestions and support. [Sp...]
I'd like to join you in committing to educate the public about this. I tell anyone who will listen to me what am going through and how I got here. Zyrtec is a no go for me too as is it's brother Xyzal. I hope you can find something that will work for you. (I am serious about the public education thing)
