[Fl...]
I would think that any kind of stimulant could amp up anxiety related symptoms. For me a little caffeine helped out with the severe dr but I had to be careful not to overdo it. Not sure that it ever really amped my symptoms but I am sensitive to stimulants as it is and didn't want to take a chance on it affecting my sleep. [sp...]
Decaffeinated coffee can still have an active amount of caffeine in it. Starbucks use a number of different decaffeinated coffee blends (see below for details on how to buy these blends for home use). The caffeine value shown here has been extrapolated from a series of tests undertaken by the University of Florida. The tests showed that a 16oz serving of decaffeinated brewed coffee had caffeine concentrations of 12 to 13.4 milligrams For comparison, 16oz of Coca-Cola has ~50mg of caffeine in it, so a Starbucks decaf has close to 25% the caffeine of a volume equivalent of coke. In wd our nervous systems can be even more sensitive. I'm not touching coffee, decaffeinated or otherwise, until I'm done riding this train.
