@[Mo...] You seem to be proceeding along nicely!  How is your scale been "behaving"?

Your new equivalent dose to 0.0925 grams (with new script that has an average weight of one pill to be 0.04983 grams) would be 0.0890 grams.

So glad you are doing well!

Thank you for the encouragement because I still feel I'm going too slow.

My scale seems fine now. I think I was "obsessing" over amounts that probably aren't that important.

If I don't talk to again soon, then have a wonderful Christmas!

@[Mo...] Is your current reduction rate keeping you functional and "well"?  Last month you made almost a 2% reduction.  If last month went well, and you are getting frustrated with your pace, you might condsider "inching it up" to 3%...nothing drastic.  I know I periodically experiment with a slightly increased pace...

I know it is difficult to be patient through the process!

Thank you @[El...] I will definitely make that reduction. I know I'll feel better about seeing some more progress!

And yes, I am feeling pretty good most of the time. That's probably why I have been concerned about going down more, but know I can't just stay at the same pace.

Using a cut up gel computer mouse pad under the scale helps stabilize it.

BTW, when you say "cut up' mouse pad, could you explain a little more as to exactly where to put pieces :idiot:

It's a fairly large scale, so that's why I ask...

i.e., just under the corners or enough for all of it?

Sorry for the delay. I cut the gel pad and put the pieces under the feet. Also removed one door. I have the scale in a small room with no movement! Calibrate, zero, and weigh. I weigh multiple times and place the pill in the same spot every time. This scale will bounce around a bit, so I minimize any vibration or air movement or touching the scale other than zeroing in order to be consistant. It is a pain measuring .0084g and going down .0001 at a time.

.0084 is the weight of each pill taken 3x day. I do this for my wife. She was dropping 1 size for 3 days then hold for 4 days. She hit the wall, so in a hold currently.

How wonderful that you are helping her with her dosing!

Hi @[El...]! I have a new scrip.  Could you help me with the new #s again? Maybe someday I will be able to figure them out, but for now I would appreciate the help!

Last month, the total of 5 sets of 10 was 2.4915 making the avg pill weight 0.4983. You gave me a total of 0.0890 for my nighttime dose.

I haven't done well this month because my husband was in the hospital, then I got sick and then there was Christmas!

So the 5 sets of 10 for my new scrip. weighs 2.5365 with avg. pill weight of 0.5073. I'll need an equivalent of 0.0880 for my nighttime dose.

Thank you!!

Hi @[Mo...]!  So very sorry to hear about your husband!  I hope all is well!  And sorry you were ill at Christmas...more stress at already what can be a stressful time.

Your new dose with your new script...you need to be taking 0.0896 grams to be equivalent to your present dose 0.0890 grams.

Is your scale working OK?

@[Mo...] Glad your husband is doing better!

Sorry...I mis-typed 0.0889 instead of 0.0880.  0.0896 grams is correct. Should proofread!
