Absolutely. This is old Roman centre, just part of it. It's formed I-III AD.

We have ruins here as well, but much smaller, of course. "Anywhere" I go (European countries), Roman ruins are often the first thing I check for

There is ancient Roman town near to my location but I can't find my own pictures. I will make new in my next visit and will post here, there are amazing ruins and you may enjoy them too.

Wait a minute, you mean to tell me that people plop down residential neighborhoods around Roman ruins?  Holy cow!!  It seems like they would be roped off and protected.

Seems like people have been living here quite a long time and most of the roman sites were damaged by subsequent residents. In the 19th and 20th century there have been targeted efforts to reconstruct some better preserved sites - there is not much reconstructed though, "only" this temple, a house and it's cellar. I am sure it was beautiful

Oh yes, the view is disturbed by the presidental area, though. There is even a dwell behind the temple that has been partially reconstructed as well.

For real? At the moment, I’m not so keen on long walks because it’s gotten too cold in our woods. I’ll check with the nisolo customer service to see if they have some warm clothes, and maybe that will change my mind. Looking for something stylish yet cozy to help make my walks more comfortable this winter
