Still waiting for the final test results for Lyme's. Neurological symptoms are still getting worse. I talked to a man a few days ago. He used to go to the gym 6 days a week, but noticed he couldn't lift those weights anymore. And while playing golf, felt exhausted even before he had reached the 9th hole. Had tests done in the same specialist hospital I went to in November, and was diagnosed with neuro -Borillioses. Has had iv. antibiotics for a months and is now in the process of recovery.  I feel very scared about it all. Benzo,  Fibromyalgia and possibly Lyme's. It all sucks! 

 

Troschetter I'm so sorry you have all this worry and I really see the withdrawal fear manifesting in health anxiety and I'm sure it's very hard for you. Eastcoast shared a trick somewhere about taking a notebook and replacing every bad thought with a good thought. I have no time for the notebook but I do it mentally. Often it works. Sometimes it doesn't but I keep trying. Wait for the diagnose before you freak out. Things usually turn out to be better than we fear them to be, especially in wd.

Morning Janice any sightings of baldy over the Xmas period?How is your daughter getting on?I think all we can do is get on with it.Waiting isn't my strong suit so l will keep on going.l will say this when you are talking to your doctor try not to say you are worrying about being taken in to hospital.He will see that as catastrophic thinking and he won't play into it.Put a positive spin on it by saying you are very passionate about your taper and you really would hate it to be derailed after everything you have been through so if perhaps he could put on your record that you are to be kept on diazepam with a view to tapering off you would be very grateful.Just my thoughts honey.l hope you have a better Sunday.love you.X

 

Stutt! Oh thank you dear this is such great advice as usual. What we would do without you I don't want to know. OK I'll try to play it cool and ask for the freaking letter like that. I mean honestly is it SO difficult to do one little thing to put our minds at ease? He likes to toy around with me and argue if this or that is or isn't withdrawal, as if I was a five year old. I'm so done with this and I'm just starting. Anyway, there's no way out so I'll go and be nice like you have to be with prison guards. He's nice and I think he's a good man. But he's a real mansplainer, a smart ass, and of course he's never been through bwd so he doesn't know how it feels regardless on how much he thinks he knows.

 

Stutt you also have to be in charge of the New Years Even dinner? Really you seem to be the only one there doing anything. Just call Dominos and give them all pizza. I think you've done enough. How are the puppies? And socks? If I was well I'd get a cat or a dog but I'm in no condition for that and I have enough on my plate. Then I'm scared that France and Germany will also leave the EU in the next elections if their extreme right parties win, and then the EU will disappear and we'll be left at the mercy of our wonderful government and then this will be chaos and I'll go to Australia, I'm not staying here to sink with the rest of them. So having an animal would make things more difficult so no animals for now.

 

I have no news about baldy or anything of the sort but if something very exciting happens in that department I'll report it. Highly unlikely though.

Hi Stut, thanks for checking in on me.. I did have a great time but I am definitely feeling it  today. Gonna take your advice and lay low, my Kitty is purring on my chest right now so there is nowhere I would rather be. I hope you are managing to recover after so much cooking!!

Morning Troch sorry to hear you had a bad night.l will say this going through benzo withdrawal with health anxiety is so difficult the possibility for illnesses are endless.Sadly the brain regulates every system in our bodies so the withdrawal symptoms are very varied and can really cause health anxiety to spiral.l really do hope you get all your results soon honey however reassurance doesn't last long with health anxiety.l will say this everything you have is very common in withdrawal and this is probably the best time to tackle the health anxiety.Just take today as a rest day do what you can and give yourself plenty of tlc.love to you.X

I hope your Christmas was nice, sounds like you did most of the cooking. Did family come to your house or did you go somewhere?

 

2nd day of a cut for me and I have my fingers crossed this goes smoothly. I'm at 1 mg again and I'm staying put no matter what comes down the pike. I'll just have to deal my way through. So I managed to taper a half of a milligram in 2019. Wasn't easy but I'm glad I did it. I'll be moving slower in 2020 though just can't go through the hell of this anymore. I have to do my best to keep sxs to a minimum.

 

Hope you enjoyed your Sunday my twin and I love the bones of you too! Albeit tiny Irish ones  you're my rock Stut.

And that you never complain about your own symptoms . I see in your signature you're holding at 0,5 mg. Wow, that's so close to being off this stuff. Are you planning to start tapering or cutting soon?  So glad you're a big inspiration to us all. Hope your doing OK.
