March 7th - 1 year on Benzobuddies -Time to JUMP!!!

What a freaking battle! I plan to detail my journey once I'm completely free.

 

Currently on K /  clonazepam 0.1mg after a year of tapering. Hard to believe a fraction of a dose has me by the balls! On March 7th I will take my last dose of K. Wish me luck!

That's great news! All the best on your jump. I'm down to 2mg of valium myself which is equivalent to your 0.1 clonazepam. I'll be tapering further for another few weeks just to be sure I can jump safely. Make sure to update us on how you're doing and good luck!

Congratulations!  So happy for you!!  You can make this final step.  I’m at .125 clonazepam once daily.  I plan to alternate daily, then jump.  But I might cut again .0625 daily then jump.  I want off so bad.  It’s a bit scary, but just as scary to stay on.  Once off , never again.

So, I got the Flu just after posting this and it obviously threw a wrench I. My plan to jump. 

 

On the positive side I managed to cut from 0.10mg  to .08mg over the past several days.  In retrospect I'm glad i cut and didn't jump. That drop was tough.

I leave for spring break with my family  next week and it looks like I'm going to take the liquid with me.

Not trying to push my luck and ruin vacation.

 

So, plans delayed a bit but still forward movement.

Way to go on your taper Peter!!!  Sorry you had to delay your jump but it sounds like a good idea to wait.  Hope things simmer down and you have a lovely vacation with your family!

To be honest it was tougher than expected.  I was under the assumption that cuts would get easier as my dose got lower. That doesn't seem to be the case.  I cut from .1 to .09 for a few days, then to .08.

 

Having the same symptoms as making cuts at higher doses.

Sorry it’s still difficult.  But, you’re still getting there.  Less benzo than before, right.  I will be cutting from .125 clonazepam.  I hate this med and I hate feeling trapped by it.  So any cut is better than no cut.  I wanted to go right to .0625.  But I’ll likely go slower to be safe.
