Want to have another child. Bad time if my DNA is screwed up from WD?

My wife wants to have another child. I'm all for it and I'm surprised because many days she's the one carrying the load with our son when my symptoms are intense. I'm wondering if my DNA is messed up because of the PAWS. I have severe neuro symptoms and dysautonomia. Burning acid prickling menthol nerve cool energy flowing through me, fire lava brain, derealization, POTS, arrhythmia, head pressure, internal vibrations, agitation, electricity limbs, numb face, etc. Am I imprinting some screwy stuff into any offspring I may have? Nothing in my body works properly so I wonder if now is a bad time to try and have a baby?

 

Does reproduction even work like this anyway? I don't understand genetics or conception more than the next layperson so maybe someone will have some knowledge of this.

OK I get imthat this is a touchy post as no one should be giving advice on this subject (or this part of the forum) but does anyone know if this neurotoxic brain injury changes our DNA and what does this potentially mean for reproduction?

I've never seen any study linking benzo use or recovery with any genetic changes in your 'propagules'.

I had a healthy amazing baby after being on benzos for 17 years and was on benzos while pregnant.  I second what badsocref says,  I never heard about benzo use causing any problems with genetic changes.
