Did you have any symptoms from the quick taper you did from Paxil?  Many people have withdrawal issues from AD's and your taper was not that long ago.

Have you looked into tapering from valium, as suggested? It's not as potent as clonnazepam and some people find tapering from valium easier on the system. It varies per individual though, others don't like the feeling that valium gives them in terms of sedation. But, it may be something to consider. I found it too difficult to taper from clonazepam.

Ty for the feedback about Valium.

I’m finding difficult to taper from cloz

so far. I had no problem getting off Paxil

Bc dose was low and I wasn’t on it long.

Can you take a leave of absence from your work so you can concentrate on tapering?

Feels like psychological and physical addiction

I was already out on leave 2 months

attending IOP

there they pushed the cloz too for

My ‘anxiety’

Now feel cloz causes anxiety.

I continue to seek help.

I know I have commented on this in another thread, but when I look at your history I 100 percent believe the issues you are having is because your doses are all over the place. In January you were on 1.5 mg and 1.75 mg. Now you are trying to get below 1 mg. Those are huge drops. K is very, very potent so what seem like small drops ... .25 or .5, are actually very large.

I know some others have echoed my advice to pick a dose, stick with it for a while, then begin a slower taper. I think if you try that you will feel better.

You may need to start off at a higher dose than 1 mg to get the anxiety you are feeling under control. You may also feel anxious due to pressuring yourself to try to get off the drug right now. I would also advocate for as much self care as possible, exercise, yoga, meditation, therapy, whatever works for you. There are also some supplements that people use to help with anxiety ... it can be hit or miss ... ltheanine, magnesium come to mind.

Good luck and I really do hope you feel better.

I think I am going to have to give myself a break and not pressure myself so much to get off the medication.

 Sounds like a good plan. I understand wanting to be off quickly, but we’re not really in charge, the benzo is.

I just don't really understand. You were on 0,5mg in october and on 1,75 in December. What happened? Why have you updosed then went back to 1 mg? How have you tried to go below 1 mg. I don't see this. Smaller cuts, microtaper. I can't see your attempts.

I was on up to 1.5 and 1.75 only a few days, not very long.

Have you cut today 0,0625 mg? It should be ok, if you are not in tolerance like me or don’t have a super sensitive CNS. I hope, that this will works for you.

I could never cut that much at a time. I know we are all different.

I also have to make smaller cuts I think, because this last one has hitted me, but my CNS is really sensitive now. :(. How much did you usually cut before your holding?

I cut 3 percent a week from 1 mg to .5 mg. Then really no matter how slow I cut it was horrific below .5 mg. Years of that. My son became ill, I was so sick I could not handle being there for him, so that is why I have updosed and held so long. I think he may finally be getting to a more stable place after almost 18 months (he is 17) so I may try again to taper, although I can't figure out if I want to do K first or get rid of the remeron first.

I can cut only in every three weeks, so my taper rate is much slower, then yours was. :( I’ve a 16 years old daughter and a 19 years old son, who just started the university in another country, so we are in similar situation. I want to deal with them, but I can’t, because of this situation. Sorry, my English is not the best. I should stop it, if I could. I don’t know what to do...I’ve lost my job and cry every day. This is a nightmare and not my life.

I’m tapering clonazepam.  I’m down to .125 x 1 daily.  I cut and hold a month or even 6 weeks.  Until wd symptoms are gone or very low.  I make smaller cuts.  I learned that varying doses caused brain confusion.  I switched to a liquid compound at .25 because you can’t cut the pill smaller.  Accurate dosing is very important.  Slow down.  Be sure to take the exact same dose daily at same time.  Take care of yourself in every way.  Skip coffee.  Walk a lot.  Take charge of your healing and taper.  Go slow.  You’ve got this.

Hi Healthyme123, I just noticed that you wrote in your record  end of February "cut 1/8 pill  6.25%" and a 1/8 is a 12.5% reduction.

Tapering from 1.5 mg to 1 mg in 2 months is a huge achievement!!!!

I´m tapering Clonazepam too, and when I reach a dose difficult to bear, I don´t think about next cut, so I stay there till I stabilize.
