Is it normal to just have a general feeling on unwellness? More so at night. And visual disturbances for 4 months months now. Does anyone else have this?

Hi Packy,

I'm not sure where you are in terms of medication, your signature is unclear, are you benzo free for 4 months or did you take the Klonopin for 4 months?

Thanks, I've changed your signature to reflect this, but how long were you on them?

From late July 2019. A little over 3 months. I can’t believe such a short time has such horrible effects.

This is incredibly unfair Packy, I'm angry just knowing you have to suffer this much for taking them for such a short time.  I guess you're being lumped in with those who took the drug for decades in terms of your suffering and I'm so sorry.  So having said this I have to tell you that four months from the last benzo is still early in the process, have you checked out chapter 3 of  The Ashton Manual lately, it used to give me comfort knowing what I was feeling was 'normal'.

Yes, I have read the manual. I have quite a few to the sx. She does say they go away. I’m just over this now. It’s amazing how bad you can feel from these drugs. I never would have thought this is a thing if it didn’t happen to me. How long before you started feeling better? Did you get the visual disturbance and dr/dp too?

I don't remember visual disturbances, but I had the dr/dp, and it took about a year for me, but I was on a high dosage and quit cold turkey, so don't compare yourself to me.  Yeah, these drugs are powerful, they change our brains when we take them, how scary is that, to screw around with the perfection of the human brain!
