Having to updose and need advise

I’m really having a tough time.  I should never have tapered Ambien til I was done with lorazepam.  I was doing so well on my taper and probably could have knocked down to 3 .5 lorazepam daily. Good humor, no pain and appetite was ok.

 

I am a wreck.  I have gone back to 10 mg Ambien and facing an updose to 2 mg lorazepam.

This just me from practical.experience and not backed up by any official source.

  I would wait until you stabilize and try the taper again. I will tell you that it's all not. The actual damage from benzos is the loss of Gaba receptors. This is the actual.place where the healing takes place in the brain. The more Gaba receptors that are restored the more you will not need benzos. I really believe that you got some of those receptors repaired before you reinstated your meds🤓

Unbelievable back pain.  Usually heating pad helped but laying in bed all day on heating pad and no relief.  Anxiety, no appetite, headache for days, little sleep, bowels not functional, cog fog, numbness back of skull, pain extending to back right side.  I couldn’t take it so upped Ambien to 7.5 sometimes 10.

 

My lorazepam taper had been going fairly well til I tinkered with Ambien dosage.  Think I took on more than I could handle.  I have to function as I get no help with day to day life.  Nobody to buy or cook food, help with housework, take care of dogs........
