Hi, please can anyone advise if they have had the symptom that I am having now and whether it went away for them? I am 9 months off a quick taper from Ativan at a detox centre. I have suffered unimaginable pain ever since, with one of my initial symptoms being a feeling in the centre of my chest as if I am having a heart attack. This has now morphed into an internal burning and difficulty in breathing. The feeling moves around my insides burning and grabbing wherever it is. I also get a burning menthol feeling in my throat. Would really appreciate some answers as really worried and in daily extreme pain. I have also had no windows only constant pain, Many thanks Hope

I have the menthol feeling in throat. Am wondering if it is reflux.

Hi,

Do you by any chance take ibuprofen or tylenol regularly? Some meds needs to be taken with lots of water and stay upright position for a while after taking it. They can cause that intense burning, something stuck in the middle of the chest pain, for a long time. It caused pain for me, I did not know about the importance of drinking plenty of fluid with meds. I use Hyoscyamine for midle of the stomach pain to relieve pain for reflux related pain, perhaps you could ask for a prescription. Gut antispasmodic and anti-tremor

It can treat muscle cramps in the bowels or bladder. it can treat symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), colitis, and other digestive problems. It can treat pain caused by kidney stones or gallstones, and muscle problems related to Parkinson's disease. It can treat irritation of the nose. It can treat stomach ulcers. Not sure if mentioning a medication is allowed to be posted here. It really helps me.
