Please help. Cuttting 5mg Valium pill

Please help. Need to cut a 5 mg Valium pill into 2.75mg. I have to crush it.  Told to weigh it then multiply by 2.75.  Then divide by 5.  That will be my dose to take In grams and equal to 2.75.

 

Is this correct.  Should it be taken in water? Dr said can just take sublingual. 

 

In a very bad situation.  Need help    Stuck on 2 benzos.  Long story.  Dr is an idiot.

That sounds correct to me. For example, if your 5 mg tablet weighs .17 g, then 2.75 mg would weigh .0935 g. Valium tablets taste pretty gross, I'd add the dose to water, drink, add more water to the glass, swish, and drink the rest.

 

Another note, if you're currently on two benzos, is it possible for you to switch over to all Valium and taper just from that? It would make things a lot easier on you.
