I feel like I’m going crazy

I just posted another story a couple of minutes ago, but I need to vent more. I feel like I’m going crazy. I’ll be sitting here and all of a sudden my brain feels like it’s being squished. My muscles feel extremely tensed. My breathing is altered. My jaw locks. My teeth hurt. My eyes feel weird. I feel like I have water swishing in my head. The pressure in my head and neck. And my thoughts lead me to believe that I’m on the verge of dying. LOL. I hate this so much.

No doubt it sucks, there's so much more we'd all rather be doing with our lives than surfing the internet about benzo withdrawal. 

 

The reason I chime in though is to see if you can shift your perspective a bit and try not to 'hate' the process.  Hate, anger, resentment, disturbance, and other negative feelings will work against you.  Don't be like the oak that stands against the wind and gets split in half and falls over, be like the reed and bend with the wind so you can live another day.  I don't have any allusions that this is easy for I know it is not, but negative emotions are counterproductive and just stir up your nervous system more.  We need to work through this in whatever amount of time it takes, so best to treat ourselves well and not struggle against the clock.
