Chest gurgling

I do have a lot of stomach gurgling, but lately, I get this gurgling underneath my ribcage.  Very strange.  Does anyone experience this?  Seems like it’s mainly underneath my breast bone.  Could this just be coming from my stomach?  JS

I had this in the beginning after i went cold turkey. Used to freak me out. Lasted a couple months and went away. Recently I started feeling it again. I don't pay much attention to it anymore. I figure it's part of the withdrawal process .

Thanks for replying to me.  My main issues are this chest gurgling & constant stomach gurgling.  Also, constant burping & stomach gas.  I have all of it on a daily basis.  Then I get very anxious that it could be something very serious.  Your post has given me hope that these are just more strange withdrawal symptoms.  Guess I need to eat more bland foods also. -JS

Just had this yesterday. Feel like soda bubbles under my left ribs. Very strange.

 

I’m about 2 1/2 years out, but didn’t suffer much from physical symptoms. Now that all mental has subsided. I’m left with a bunch of physical symptoms I’m dealing with. Rib pain (side of my ribs) and throat tightness are probably the top two.

Thanks for replying to me AccidentalKTR.  I snap, krackle, & pop a lot!  Plus, constant burping.  I think much of my anxiety is caused by my digestive issues.  It’s not been too far out from when I jumped (Dec. ‘19) so I hope the symptoms disappear soon.  I think I’m a lot more fortunate than a lot of people that have gone through this misery.  My heart goes out to those that are severely incapacitated.

I have had this for the last couple of weeks. It replaced my throat squeezing/choking sensation. I’m so glad that’s gone and I’ll take this one over it any day. It still bothersome but I don’t think it would bother me so much if I wasn’t so hyper aware of what’s going on in my body. I mostly feel mine on the lower left side under my ribs but occasionally I feel it higher around my heart. I do not like that, but I recently had a stress test and holter monitor and everything checked out. I also get really bloated in the evenings so I’m sure it’s all related. Just another annoying thing I have to wait out!

I can totally relate. I also rotate between rib issues and the throat tightness. Sometimes I have both.

Again, thanks all for the responses.  I hate we are all going through this, but at least we can help each other by sharing our symptoms.  There are days I want to run to the phone & call a doctor fast because my anxiety makes me believe something is seriously wrong with me, but you all have a calming effect on me,

reassure me my symptoms are so common in withdrawal & beyond.  Blessings & good health.
