Anyone else 5+ years off benzos have high blood pressure?

Hi All,

April will be 6 years since I jumped from Lorazepam.  I am still severely sick with numerous x/s.  I am now 54 yrs old.and just recently, I have developed high blood pressure.  I have been prescribed a BP medication.  I don't know the name of it yet....I have to pick it up at the pharmacy tomorrow...but was wondering if anyone else is in this situation and if so, what was your experience with BP medication?  With all the horrifying w/d x/s I had and those I continue to have, I'm concerned about how BP medication is going to effect me.  I realize everyone's experience is different.....but would still be interested in hearing what any of you in this situation may have dealt with.  Thank you.

My bloodpressure is skyhigh. The doctor can not control it. I stopped benzo 4 months ago and most worst i have internal vibrations
