Etizolam tapering bromazolam

I came off Etizolam 3mg last year by tapering with Zopiclone which I found easier to taper with. much less symptoms than Etizolam which was horrible to come off and I jumped too quickly....stupidly. I ran out of Zopiclone and couldn't access anymore. I couldn't sleep so I started up with Etizolam just to get some sleep. Before I had tapered to 1mg of zopiclone and no etiz for 3 months. So now I am taking 1.25mg Etizolam to sleep and want to cross over to Bromazolam which I think may be easier to taper with because it has a longer half life. Anyone has any experience or advice with this I would be grateful.

Welcome to Benzo Buddies! I'm sorry you ran into difficulties with your taper, this is not uncommon.

 

I am aware of the medications you speak of but don't have personal experience with them. However, I'm sure that others will offer their knowledge to you.

 

Sleep is a great elixir and insomnia is a very common withdrawal symptom. It can take a while for normal sleep patterns to return.

 

Why don't you post your questions on the Planning Your Withdrawal Board.  Others can weigh in on what is the best way to continue your taper with bromazolam. I'll give you a link to that board.
