six months off xanax

Today marks six months off Xanax. I was a long term user at 3 mg per day.

 

Still have some symptoms but much better than when on X or when tapering (which was hell).

 

BB was helpful in that I was able to identify that the benzo was causing the problems I was experiencing. Also, I learned about daily liquid micro taper and specifically how to do that, although the most helpful members who were experts on that no longer participate here. Made a couple of friends who I interact with off site v here.

Just keep working on it - no matter what your pace. It can seem like an endless journey, but if you keep at it, then the day finally comes when you are off this stuff.
