Hello, i'm a 44 year old male. I have a 15 year old beautiful daughter but i got divorced years ago.

 

I'm joining this community because i truly believe that this is totally unfair for millions of persons all over the world who are asking themselves about what is happenning to their lives.

 

I used to take (by prescription) 6 mg clonazepam, + 2mg if needed (also by prescrition). This was my peak and lasted around two years.

 

I started taking benzos around 8 years ago.

 

I'm not taking any benzos but i'm trying to rebuild my life while battling with withdrawal.

 

I quit be myself after disastrous attempts with doctor and hospitals. Long story.

 

I would like to say that i'm going through the worst time in my life and i need help. Also i can help other people too, because every individual is different.

Welcome to Benzo Buddies!

 

You certainly were taking some large doses of clonazepam.  It looks like you are continuing to have withdrawal symptoms. It can take a while for symptoms to ease up.

 

Why don't you share a bit more information with us so we can address your personal situation. How long have you been off benzos?  Did you taper or did you stop cold turkey.  There are a lot of things that impact recovery so it would be helpful to have a better understanding of your circumstances.

I'm around two months off benzos. It is difficult to express myself and stay in focus for a while. Even to write in Spanish is really hard for me most of the time. I'll try my best to explain what I'm going through soon.

I'm glad to hear you're benzo free, but I see you had to do it alone, I just want you to know you're not alone anymore, we'll be here for you.  Please tell us more about how you were able to quit the Klonopin, it will help us get a better idea how to help you.
