Tension in roof of mouth

I have one lingering remaining sympton that comes and goes, the roof of my mouth becomes very tense and i have to kind of bite down to relax it and get rid of it, the more i notice it that worse it gets. It makes swallowing difficuly and sometimes painful if it lasts for a while.

Just wondering if anybody knows what it is or if their is a name for it?

Or how to releive it.
