15 years on Clonazepam - Almost 6 months off!!

Joined Benzo Buddies to provide hope and also gain insight.

 

My Dr prescribed me Klonopin .5mg/x2 daily in 2003 for Generalized Anxiety.

 

I continued taking my .5mg/x2 until 2018 when I finally sought help and began to unwind the past 15 years.

 

I have been entirely off Benzo's since May 2019?

 

Self dry-cut taper for just over one year.

 

Having now been off of Benzos for close to 6 months I understand how these drugs robbed me of my feelings and emotions.

 

Adjusting has been quite an experience and difficult at times, I feel the urge to share and help others as well as ask questions about the future.

Wow, I can really feel your energy and your positive outlook, we're so glad you're here!  How are you feeling now, are you still experiencing symptoms, or have they settled down a bit?  I'm so glad to hear you took your life back, it's amazing how we're so flat lined while on them, it feels good to feel again-well, once the horrible symptoms leave that is.
