Burning chest pain, tightness in chest.

3 weeks off kpin. Slow taper and jumped from .06 mg. I was not ready for the acute withdrawls being this hard from such a small jumping dose.

 

Was wondering if anyone has experienced a burning sensation in their left chest. It’s hurts like a pulled muscle but it also has burned for 7 days or more. I don’t think it’s heart burn as it almost near my collar bone but wouldn’t rule that out as my gas and stomach have been causing issues.  I’ve been having extreme shoulder and back tension, calf’s are cramping like crazy. When I massage the area I can dull the pain but then it shoots everywhere. I’d say nerves because I’ve had the pins and needles but this almost feels like inside of the chest.  I’ve been getting light headed, jaw pain, sweats so of course all the symptoms of heart attack and that’s where my mind constantly goes.

 

 

I’ve been to the ER for EKGs, went to heart doc and did an echo test Friday, and doing a stress test Tuesday.  All of them said it’s not Benzos and pretty much laughed it off that I thought it. I’m flagged for anxiety so everything is just that to them. 

 

I’ve searched the forum and haven’t really seen much about this. Just looking for some similar WDs or ideas from people as my health anxiety is so high and everyone acts like I’m crazy.

I'm sorry you are having that experience with medical staff. Seems pretty common, sadly.

 

I get the tightness in my chest, but it is anxiety. The other symptom? I don't know, seems like this drug can cause a huge number of odd symptoms.

Yes to all this, it’s the benzos, glad you got cleared cardiac wise.  I get this cramping, burning, tightening, just gross and wrong feeling around my chest/collar bone and shoulder, goes up into my neck and face. It’s gotten a lot better. Early on it was actually dystonia in that same place.
