Why is my clonzanapam blue?

Ok. This is strange. I picked up my k 2 mg. They are blue by teva. Never in my life have i seen or taken s blue k. They wete always yellow. Did something change with k? So strange.

My 1mg Ks have always been a type of bluish color. Not sure about green though? But yeah, the blues were from shades of pastel to dark blue.

Teva 1mg K were always a light blue for me.

From what i was reading on the teva disc thread, I guess ppl wanted teva back do they started making them again. Now the new oned are green. I gave no idea what ive been taking for yrs. To me they were just 1 mg clonz yellow. I think the .5 were orange.

Every manufacturer has a different color.  Different mg's have a different color.  You can look up what you have on a website called the "pill identifier".  You type in the color and shape of the pill along with any letters or numbers.  That will tell you exactly what manufacturer and what med it is. Every manufacturer has a different color to distinguish them from competitors. Pharmacies use different companies based on the best deals they can find. This is perfectly normal.

That could either be a placebo affect or fillers in the pills. Less than 5% is the actual drug.

Actually every manufacturer uses different color schemes so they can tell the colors apart in their own manufacturing facility. A lot of the regulation around drugs has to do with mixups, especially on the manufacturing floor. One way to help prevent this is to give colors to all the powder mixes and pills. That makes for easy identification on the manufacturing floor.

 

Having worked at a pill manufacturer, that part I know is true. What I sorta think is that manufacturers would like to use the same color as the brand name if they can. I know 0.5 mg xanax manufactured by Pfizer is pink. And the pills I've gotten from 3 different manufacturers have also been pink (either round or oval shaped). Pills from one other manufacturer were yellow.
