Can anyone relate?

I’m a couple of weeks from jumping and down to .25 of Valium. I spent3 days in the hospital this week trying to figure out why my blood pressure spiked to 206/103, left arm burning and aching, and feeling like I’m going to jump out of my skin. Nuclear stress test on my heart, MRI of my head, CT scan of chest, and blood work all normal. Sent home with a diagnosis of anxiety. Same symptoms for the last 2 days since I’ve been home. I was getting a small dose of morphine in the hospital. I would take it when I would start to feel the symptoms coming on and the symptoms would subside. Please can anyone else relate to these symptom? I would really appreciate any feedback.

Good all the tests are negative

I have been having all those sxs during my fast taper and off. Its all from the drug.

 

I would be careful taking anything to cover up these sx.

 

You may want to hold on to the last tiny dose longer unless parodoxical effects. 0.25mg is so small you would think It won't do anything but it did to me. I jumped at 0.1mg all the sxs ramped up 10 times plus new ones.

 

Just my personal experience though.

Thanks for responding 4mom. Did your blood pressure stay elevated for long periods of time? I’m on blood pressure medication. I was on it prior to taking a benzo. Mine has been elevated for several hours today. I don’t take any other meds besides my blood pressure pill and Valium. I take Tylenol or Advil for pain.

I didn't have blood pressure issue until 3 wks off. The first such episode came up after reaction to Mexico food. Then i kept reacting to various food with vertigo, seizure like head feeling, chest pain, rashes, and blood pressure up or down 40 or 200. Each lasted a few hours. The numb, twitching burning, numbing entire my head and body are with me all the time since tapering.

 

If you have been taking the blood meds then you don't want to make changes to that. I think your wd is intensifying the original blood pressure issue. I never had any other health issue before valium except for the back injury.

 

I hope you can stablize soon especially the blood pressure as it's a real health issue too not only from wd.
