Having a CT scan for my ear and sinus, is it ok?

Is it ok to do this type of x-ray where they will inject me with liquid pigment ( color) to do the scan, is it ok or it will send me in a wave.

I've had a few of these lately, didn't experience anything untoward and I'm very sensitive to meds etc, you'll be fine.

What is in the color pigment? Please find it out.

Everyone is different. Sometimes even they don't cause immediate obvious sx, it's better to avoid stimulants that may hinder your healing.

I've had the contrast without any problems.  Just drink lots of water afterward to flush it out of your body.  It's hard on the kidneys.

I had two CTs of my abdomen with contrast medium within two weeks. I felt no ill effects. As others have said, just drink plenty of water afterwards. And the CT scan is not scary at all . . . nothing like an MRI.
