Lexapro

Hi, does anyone use Lexapro while tapering off of Diazepam?  Any tips, do 's or don'ts? Should I start taking it or not? Personal experience?  It's getting harder and harder to taper,  I' ve become very anxious lately. Please,  I need help to make a decision.

I don't know about Lexapro, but Cymbalta has made life easier for me.

Lexapro is an SSRI. I never experienced any relief from the two I tried. Cymbalta is an SNRI. I was afraid to take it at first, thinking it might make anxiety worse, which it did the first week (and every updose), but it's helped me with the anxiety and depression. Be prepared for a month or two evaluation period. It took me 4 weeks before I noticed any improvement.
