This drives me crazy! Lol

I am not posting this in technical support because I honestly know how to avoid it but I continue to let it happen anyway.

 

I can not tell you how many times I have sat here for five minutes pouring my heart out into a post. I read something someone said and really put a lot of thought into a response. I use my phone most of the time and sit there typing away for what seems like forever with my stupid thumbs. I type and type and type.

 

Then it happens!

 

I hit post and find out my session had timed out!

It’s all gone! Everything I typed is gone!

 

Oh that drives me absolutely crazy! Lol!

Just checking u know u can set your login time for up to one month.. I guess u do...

Have done the same thing many times before I did what Cantfly said...log in for a month.

Sometimes I’ve been able to save my post by hitting the back button, copying, logging back in and pasting/posting it again.

 

But not always.

What worked for me was to immediately log back in and then click back a couple of pages and, big sigh of relief, my post was still sitting there.  Sometimes I needed to refresh the page so a quick copy/paste was in order.  I finally learned my lesson and stay logged in for longer.

 

Aah, was about to post and saw Chal's comment, well, great minds and all that ...

Haha. Yeah, like I said I knew how to fix it but just didn’t. You guys gave convinced me though. I will change the log in time. I just figured I couldn't be the only one who was doin this. Lol.

Jack...I'm you!  Too many times that has happened to me.  I know right, just change the time when I log in.  But dang, sometimes Benzo brain makes me forget...and then...yup...you know...it's gone!!! Aaagghhh!

Easy fix- get in the habit of clicking "copy" before you hit the send button. This has saved me more than once.

I've tried doing that but sometimes I forget!! So scary when this brain fog descends!  I don't function like I used to and can't wait till my faculties are fully functioning like the good ol' days!!
