I’ve posted nearly everywhere with no real answers so hoping I can get help in here. I am nearing my taper end of oxazepam (serax) and been cutting about .5mg daily. I added 1.25mg Valium for interdose withdrawals so in about 2 weeks I’ll be tapering that. I’ve only been on the Valium for 2ish weeks and will be 4 weeks when my last dose of serax happens. Is it safe to taper rapidly off the Valium (similar to serax taper)? For example .07mg per day? Is Valium different or more difficult to taper from? I really need advice as I’m not sure how to go about this.

My guess is that it should be safe. It is considered easier to taper Valium since it is long acting. You are on a low dose and haven't been on benzos for long.

Good luck!

P.s. You will probably finish your oxazepam taper a couple of days ahead of me!
