Hello, I'm Eponine, a 41 year old woman living in the midwest USA. Been on Klonopin for 12 years or a little longer. I have chronic neurological lyme disease which also mimics all the long-term symptoms of benzo use. I feel like I'm going crazy now, just at 1.5 mg for a long time. I see the cognitive and neuro and physical affects and we are scared.

I'm sorry to hear you've been dealing with lyme disease, if it mimics symptoms of benzo use, I'm especially sorry because most of us here know what that feels like.  Is it your wish to get off of benzodiazepines, have you discussed this with your Dr?  If you'd like help through this process, we're more than willing to provide that.  We are a supportive community with many resources to help you with whatever path you choose to take.
