I started tapering off 6mg Xanax back in September of 2017.i crossed over to 30mg valium when I got down to 1.5mg mg Xanax.  I crossed over in December 2018 and I'm currently down to 9mg valium  . I take 1mg in the morning and 8 mg night. I've been cutting and holding following the Ashton Manuel but it's too hard on my body and I need help with a liquid micro taper.  Thank you

We are glad you joined, well done to you on your taper thus far.  You will get plenty of help and support from our caring members.    We have a great community here of knowledgeable and friendly people who understand this process.  Feel free to ask questions so that members can respond

 

The general recommendation is to taper no more than 5-10% every 10-14 days,  many need to taper slower, whatever rate you are comfortable with.  It’s great that you are familiar with the Ashton Manual, It’s an excellent  resource for understanding the effect benzo’s have on our body.
