I wanna pass this along to everyone I’m going to CBT counseling right now and the psychologist noted the fact that he believes me that I’m still in Bwd  why does he believe me because he had a friend that went through it and he himself had a bad reaction believe it or not the anti-histamines where he had a panic attack so he fully understands a chemical anxiety.

Blue,

That is wonderful news!

I am thrilled that your psychologist is going to be able to provide

supportive and a non-judgmental approach to your healing!

It is great to have someone else in your corner!

Thanks for sharing!

Be well.

That's really refreshing to hear blue.  I have never had anyone believe me, ever.  Best I've had, is patrony.

Good to hear, bpm.

How's the CBT going?  Are you finding it's starting to help you at all?

Blue,  A person who is trained in CBT and KNOWS about Benzo withdrawals is just awesome to find.  Score for you!  I am unable to PM due to being suspended but I got your message.  This last wave I started with mental confusion and then went to having the horrible leg aches and tight back/hip.  It lasted 9 days and I am 4 days free from it again.  Thanks for asking about me.  I guess the biggest take away from my own practice is that when I felt the wave coming - I did not panic and just went with it.  Allowing myself to rest and not feel bad about keeping up with the house stuff knowing that I would pull out of it again.  And that sense of "doom" that usually comes with these waves was far less intense...doesn't mean that I didn't cry though

Keep us updated on the CBT!

That's good. One of the things people seem to do is focus on the negative.

That’s what I’ve noticed too, the panic and doom that comes with the waves isn’t as present. It’s still not a cake walk, but there is more hope present in my recovery.
