Quitting Bromazapam

I've been on bromazapam for about 12 years so that I can have some sleep every night and keep a job going. I've tried to taper it- reducing to half dosage and once every 3-4 days. The tapering initially gave me headaches followed by giddiness. Sleeping in was easy because I quit my job. But now I worry if what I have is enough to see me through a successful tapering process...I need all the help I can get...thank you all!

You will get plenty of help and support here.  Benzodiazepines need a slow taper,  can you find a doctor who will prescribe enough for you to taper?  A gradual taper of 5-10% every 10-14 days is generally recommended, some need to taper slower.  I am going to leave a link to the Ashton Manual, a great source of information about these types of medications and how to withdraw.  The manual contains taper and withdrawal info and explains how benzos affect the body.
