Finished Ambien Taper Yesterday. Going forward drug free

I'm almost 3 month off from my benzo jump. 15 years on them. .5 mg x 2 a day and a lot of the time I only took one. Along the way I tapered Ambien as well. I jumped the second time after a disastrous 1st jump last year. I took my last cut dose of ambien yesterday. I have a loooong way to go and have been so sick for over a year now. It's hard to fathom that this process can take up to and sometime more than 3 years of you life. I'm exhausted from being so sick. Like so many of us I'm doing this alone. But I look at this this way, yes Im sick but I'm on the down side of the mountain now.  . I have very very bad tinnitus now going on 14 months. Unrelenting. It has been my main SXS. I would only wish this on the doctors who did this to me.

Problem is... I really liked the NP that put me on these. Sigh.
