I've heard of looping music.  I don't have that but anything i say/read/watch repeats over and over in my head like a broken record.  I feel like I am loosing my mind.

It's unbelievable isn't it how weird the brain gets in this?

I want you to understand that this will end and your brain will be quiet again.  Please just hang on and don't do anything stupid in the meantime.

I had to focus my attention on the present moment so not to get entangled in the awfulness of a brain that wouldn't make sense or shut up and I had to keep letting the thoughts go.  I hope that makes sense.  It saved my life doing that.  My brain was roaring insanity and I made it and you will too.

I kept putting my attention into my legs and feet, really focusing hard.  That grounded me and helped SO much.  If you can follow your breath that will help too.  Using your 5 senses to make yourself be present is key.

You probably have your own tricks by now but  thought I'd mention what worked for me in case you're growing weary and need a new tactic.

This will end, I promise.  :smitten:

Thanks for the reply Whoopsie,

I've tried everything imaginable.  Let the thoughts flow, focus on breath, focus on external surroundings etc.  I have been living in a 24/7 panic attack for 9 months.  It has only gotten worse.  Everyone says distract but literally nothing distracts me from the thoughts in my head.  I feel like acute 24/7.

I believe you.  So awful.  Just survive today,  that’s all you have to do.  It really will stop eventually (sorry to use that word ... wish we knew exactly how long so you could count the days till it ends).  The will to survive is powerful and obviously you’ve got it or you wouldn’t have endured what you have already.  It’s been a long time since I experienced what you’re describing but I will never forget it.  I feel for you, it sucks so bad to have to go thru it.  I don’t know how we do it but we do.
