Swollen sore eyelids, under eyes, flaking outer corners that hurts?

Is this a withdrawal symptom?

It has come and gone (after eye soaks and such) for about a month.  The eyelids even ooze a little bit.

 

Eyes seem ok-- it is puffy eyelids, which are red, and eyelids feel tight and hurt.

Nothing itches at all... just sore.  Can't figure htis one out.

Sounds like conjunctivitis.  I cant believe you haven't gone to the doctors for this........

No it is not that.

 

It is gone for now-- I think it is an allergy or reaction or something.  Knowing me it will be to some medication  ;(

If you have dry eye, it would not be surprising.  I am dry everywhere and having all sorts of crazy symptoms b/c of it.

Hi, well it is not that either.

I mean my eyes are not painful.  It mostly is swelling, redness, dryness of the lid.

 

I was reading about lyrica, which I have experimented with a bit.  Side effects of lyrica are edema like that and allergic reactions.  Knowing me, who can't take other meds, that would be it.  SIGH.

 

Seriously they have to invent a med to get people off benzos and not with the usual stuff-- ADs, lyrica, etc., that I can't take.

 

griping, I know... but feel I have a reason to gripe!
