I have been on ativan for probably at least 20 years, I really don't remember when I started. I too it as prescribed for shoulder, neck, and chest tension.

 

I knew it was addictive BUT I never knew the withdrawal symptoms or process or I never would have started it.

 

Unfortunately, that is probably all too common.
