What brand of scale do you use for dry cut tapering?

Any advice re: what brand of scale to use for dry cut tapering?

I must be crazy because I'm still trying to taper off ativan despite metatstatic breast cancer. So far, 3 1/2 weeks. 25% reduction. 1.5 to 1.125. I just know, from past experience, I will feel a lot better once I'm off this stuff.... and sleeping.

I heard there had been a member who had breast cancer during her taper. Anyone know her name?

Thanks, Buddies!

Troch,  would you mind giving a review on your Fusion T-20 ??    Mine is a Gemini 20 and often enough it jumps around.  It may weigh a tablet at .170 and the next time I weigh the same tab it might be .165 or .175  :tickedoff:  Overall mine gets the job done, however when I get to a lower dose it might be challenging.

I bought a $400 Old Wilt Knotts gram scale. Still too much variance and so time consuming. It made me sick and I had do liquid taper. Much easier and more accurate. If variance doesn't affect you much, you could just use the $25 Gemini you get on Amazon. Bottom line is ALL scales vary and as taper gets smaller, variance affects you more. Just don't waste your money like I did on expensive scale.... it will still vary.

Get in touch with Builder.... he helps us with our liquid solutions. I use the water/vodka solution. Great way to taper without accuracy AND it's soooo easy and less time consuming. Also, stick with the same brand during taper...too much variance when switching brands. I use brand name K. Pricier, but worth it!!! You can mix up a like weeks worth of solution at a time. No refrigeration required. It stores for up to 2 weeks. It's been the best way for me, and I'm sensitive. Some people have a hard time getting used to liquid, but you HAVE to give it at least a month to give it a fair trial. Some people say it gives them withdrawal when converting. I had a little bit of a hard time at first, but I'm sooo glad I taper that way!!! Dry tapering you can only dry cut in most scales .001g gram weight off of a pill. In liquid, you can taper as small as you want!!! I highly recommend it. It has made my taper much easier.

Breck,  mine does the same as any scale ; every time you weigh a pill and then calibrate, It says something a bit different. Takes some extra time and effect and still I' m  not a hundred % sure, it's going to be exactly right. I' m having a lot of trouble  tapering at the moment, so am thinking about liquid taper as well. But I don't get,  how the daily reductions works. So will be keeping an eye on a post by Builder. ( Hopefully).
