Head rocking symptom, sheer terror? Anybody else?

Hello All,

I'm wondering if anybody shares this symptom: head involuntarily rocking back and forth with the ramping up feeling like you're going to seize or convulse?

I used to get occasional tremor when I was drinking. I quite drinking for three years, then drank fairly reasonably for 1.5 years. Then one day my head started swaying, I could barely walk, I had electricity in my limbs, and I had this feeling of impending doom as my head rocked back and forth uncontrollably. I couldn't really stand, and I was sure I would seize and die. But I remember everything, and the docs didn't know what to call it. This is where I got on the valium.

As an aside, I asked my wife to take a video of my rocking, and four doctors I've shown it to have confirmed it wasn't a seizure. But it's hellish, whatever it is.

I was at 8mg and dropped to 4mg in a month. A total cakewalk until 4mg. I went nuts and bumped up to 4.5mg and had been tapering for the past two weeks. I got down to 4.09mg (DLMT) and had the head thing and massive panic today. Ate an extra 2mg and went to the doctor. It sort of cleared up within 1/2 and hour, followed by tears. Now I'm nervous and pukey, and wondering how the rest of my life is going to pan out.

I'm going to stay where I am until I stabilize. I thought 10% over two weeks was light. Looks like I'm going to have to start cutting slower. Oddly, my sleep isn't suffering at all. I thought that was the first to crumble.

So has anybody had that symptom? It feels more than a panic attack, and I had it from drinking before the benzos, but it ain't a seizure. However, it carries the feeling of that moment before you have an accident where your whole body's chemistry works in concert to produce the biggest "OH $#!T" of your life.

Thanks in advance for any replies.
