Hello,

I need some expert advice, I had planned on tapering down to 1 mg of Librium

however I jumped off at 2 mg on Saturday and Monday & Tuesday were really bad

days with anxiety and tinnitus & head pressure ramped up pretty high now today (Wednesday) the symptoms

have lessened a little, do you think I'm okay or should I have continued my taper,

over the last few weeks it seemed that the medicine was no longer helping me however I

didn't think I would get hit w/ such bad symptoms, I'm really afraid that I could lose my job if I'm not able

to keep performing at a high level, if someone could advise me on my next step it will be greatly appreciated,

my employer has been more than understanding over the last year however I'm afraid that I might just run

out of time before I can retire in 15 months.

Thank You !

Kind Regards

Terry

According to Ashton Benzo equivalency:

2 mg of Librium = 0.4 mg Diazepam.

It's a pretty low dose. I think you should be fine.

Good luck

P.

I think you’ve cracked it and just see it through.

If it’s hard possibly take half a Librium for a few days. (Full reinstatement might be taxing.)

I am sure you will be fine

Thanks for advice, I'm going to take it the rest of the way home, it's a little too

scary that after 14 months of tapering down from 6 mg of Xanax that 2 mg of

Librium could possibly hold me hostage, I'm starting to feel a little more human if that

makes sense, I was getting blasted with waves of D/R and D/P and I was starting to

feel tired and weak from everything, funny it all comes down to needing someone

with experience telling you that everything is going to be okay, we all need that type of

confirmation after being traumatized.

Kindest Regards

Terry
