Slammed 51 days out. How long was acute for you? Peak? Start? Decline?

I'm getting windows and waves- some very functional days and some days where I fear for my sanity without sounding melodramatic. I seriously thought I would be adsorbed into the trees outside my window two days ago. Lots of DR to the point I thought I was dreaming. Now it's all physical with searing burning skin and menthol insides, my head feeling like it's going to pop, blurry vision, difficulty swallowing, raging tinnitus and sounds echoing in a creepy distorted way. A week ago I had a 4 day window where I worked, exercised, and nearly forgot I was in WD. This is crazy!I can't believe .001 K was holding this tsunami back. I guess I'm in acute as this feels worse than when I jumped?

Knowing that everyone's timeline for healing is different, I'd still like to know how long acute lasted for each of you and if you tapered (how low) or jumped.

I’m 5 months, 3 weeks post 6 week taper ... I’m still in Acute.

So sorry you are being slammed.

We are healing.  SaraSue

I was rubbish until M8 and now at M10 I feel so much better but I’m nowhere near right all of the time. A few more months only I hope. So don’t feel too down, better days are ahead

I'm about 8 months out now and at 51 days, that would have been December for me, and yeah, I was also slammed with a nasty wave.  It leveled off around the end of January and beginning of February.  By March I felt a lot better.  I've just been slammed with another wave, but it wasn't as bad as the one in December.

Acute was about a month, peak at 2 and 3 weeks, decline during week 4. Still healing, but feel loads better. Waves triggered by extreme stress. And any kind of stimulant (caffeine).

Tapered for 5 years , at 6 months totally off now , acute was 2-3 months  and it was bad - I had no windows at all . I am still triggered by extreme stress and when I listen too long to my beloved music . Also sugar wafers make me nervous and I love sugar wafers , I have had a problem with eating making my heart symptoms much worse so I have had to take it slow and nibble on what I can , any and everything. sugar wafers are out at present , I am extremely thin and recovering from severe malnutrition due to W/D also.

I'm still early but I consider acute for me the first month or two. I was basically laying in bed yet twitching, shaking and moving constantly. I couldn't do anything but try to binge watch tv. After that I've been in a fog of bad pysch symptoms but its no longer physical and I can at least run errands and stuff during the day.
